There was an envelope with a card placed at each table that represented a future anniversary. The menu card at each seat encouraged guests to leave a note for the couple. There was also an envelope at the sweetheart table so the newlyweds could jot down their thoughts down in the moment to read on their first anniversary❤️

In memory table meets cookie table. When my client told me about honoring her loved ones and their favorite recipes on the cookie table, I immediately fell in love with the idea! This was too sweet not to share 😉

“Without the rain, there would be no rainbows”🌈

To all the couples out there getting married outside, I know the rain is one of your biggest worries for your wedding day (not going to lie, mine too!). Just be sure when you are searching for your wedding venue and decide to have it outside that you like the rain plan almost as much as you love the outside option. Anytime I mention the “rain plan” to my couples I can see them cringe and throw daggers at me with their eyes 👀 When your planning something outside (especially in PA), shifting everything inside is definitely a possibility. Sometimes tough decisions have to be made the day prior to accommodate your vendor’s being able to prepare for the rain plan. The moral of this story is if planning a wedding outside:

1.) Don’t avoid the rain plan discussion.

2.) Ask your venue what happens, ask your vendors what they do.

3.) Be willing to accept that rain might happen on your wedding day and there is nothing you can do about it, except shift your vision to your rain plan.

On the other hand, know that I have done plenty of events outside and we have had to resort to the rain plan and it was just as special of a day! Who knows you might even end up with a rainbow😍

Yesterday was our first wedding of the 2022 season and it was absolutely fabulous! No matter how much I plan, confirm, draw diagrams or do to make the day perfect, a wedding planner can really only be as good as the team they have working with them the day of.
